The "Bus Tour Show" featuring The Ultimate Duo: Vic Paul and Jack Knox
Vic and Jack in Utica, NY A Senior Show Great weather for a 4 hour drive, dinner and drinks with the agent and other act. A peaceful night sleep. Breakfast, setup and a show. A good way to spend a few days. With lighting, spotlight, a good PA and strong material, the show was enjoyed by all.
----------------------------- ANOTHER EXCELLENT SHOW FOR VIC AND JACK The Atkinson Resort / Country Club Show for Seniors 500 guests
75 minutes of our medleys, Jack's powerful voice, a few jokes, a little banter with the audience and a dramatic Ray Charles closer ('You Don't Know Me" and "America The Beautiful") had the entire house standing, waving and singing.
There are not a lot of the “Greatest Generation” left. At the Show in Atkinson, NH during the closer, everyone was standing and singing, it was a wonderful moment. There was one elderly gentleman, at one of the front tables. He caught my eye because he wasn’t very strong and struggled to stand up. When he did make it, he looked up at Jack and I, and proudly saluted. These shows are becoming a very rewarding experience.
OH, WHAT A NIGHT ! ------------------------------------------- The New Hampshire "Good Sam" RV Association had their "Samboree"
Jack and I had a chance to show off for two hours and ten minutes. (The longest show that we have ever done - 7:30 to 9:40) I can't believe how much material that we have developed.
With a spotlight and staging, the show looked good and was very well accepted by the 300 members.
Jack's great voice and humorous takes on many wonderful singers from the past, plus some of our "off the cuff "bantering with the audience, and a very funny song about a "procedure" that I experienced at a recent doctor's visit and some of our oldies medleys and sing-a-longs, kept the place moving, laughing and singing.
You can imagine what one female fan did during Jack's six minute "Tom Jones" Medley.
"THE BUS TOUR SHOW" is becoming an act that brings back the fun and music that was the "OLD VEGAS"
THE CONTINENTALS ARE STILL ONE OF THE VERY BEST COMBINATION SHOW AND DANCE BANDS IN NEW ENGLAND. - Superior musicians - Excellent vocals - Amazing medleys
Two of New England's most versatile entertainers and bandleaders combine their talents and present an act that was inspired by the amazing entertainers that performed in the Showrooms and Lounges of Las Vegas in the '50's, '60's and '70's
